Hi! We are Sagara Hirsch and Giulia Faccini, the graphic & motion designer duo with eyes that catch nice visuals, ears tuned to original melodies, hands crafting immersive experiences, noses sniffing out the freshest ideas, and taste buds that savor the unexpected flavors of game design, bringing [NON]SENSE to life.

During the final year of our Bachelor studies in Animation at the HSLU in Lucerne we decided to form a team of two and work together on our final project, [NON]SENSE. We wanted to realize another type of project, a fusion of immersive and slow game experience and flat graphic illustration.

After the idea was born, we immediately started working out the concept. The story, the theme, the characters and the visual language were defined. Because we care a lot about aesthetics, we worked early on the concept art and character design. A big part of the preparation was also to design the game concept in a way that not only made sense for the player and the story, but was also interesting from a gameplay perspective. A lot was discussed, sketched, asked, changed and changed again until we were 100% satisfied.

Overall [NON]SENSE took a year to be born and was a long and new journey for us and for our collaborators. That's why we wann say a huge thank you to the programmers from the Mixin GmbH, who implemented the game on the open source program Unity.
For the graduation we realised a finish desktop game.
